Actor's Life (and thoughts, mostly thoughts)

Rochan Dayal Mathur is a stage and screen actor based in Delhi/Mumbai. He is a trained actor from Drama School Mumbai (DSM) where he did the 1 year full-time PG Diploma in Acting & Theatre-making.

Rochan has worked with multiple theatre groups as an actor, and as a production assistant for others. He has acted in digital advertisements and TVCs for many brands and in videos for MensXp and Indiatimes. He has done 200+ improv comedy shows of 'RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW', Delhi's longest-running short-form improv show by the Playground Improv Collective. His maiden feature film, 'The Writer's Inn' by Autarky Films, is currently in post-production. He is currently shooting a series of videos for 'PlayCKC' and 'Change Karo Kal Ko'.

He started this blog to discipline himself into reading and writing more about work. Please send him howlers on Instagram at @rochan_mathur if you don't see two posts per quarter on this blog! He likes accumulating books and articles on acting theory, experiential learning & liquid knowledge, research methods in performance studies... and he actually reads them when he is not busy making reels on Instagram and cleaning his Google drive.
